Nerd punk from Portland, OR

Thundering Asteroids! have been beating the Kobayashi Maru with over-caffeinated power chords since 2009. With topics ranging from sexy lamps to goblin kings and from superheroes to kill screens, their geek badges are proudly emblazoned on their sleeves.

Minn and the boys crank the D10 to 11 as they rocket through space leaving a trail of video game cartridges and blown speakers in their space wake.

Minn (vocals)

Minn

Minn sacrificed years of her life to the Horde. Training and leveling, endless dungeon runs and boss fights; all to take out the Alliance.

But over time she bored with the grind. She tried /dance which was ok. Better than the dwarves anyway… everyone knows dwarves can't dance. /laugh. But what she really wanted was /rock. The developers neglected her, so she escaped the bonds of the cartoony realm and came to this one.

Scott Starkiller (bass)

Scott Starkiller

The year is 1987 and NASA launches the last of America's deep space probes.

In a freak mishap Ranger 3 and its pilot Scott Starkiller are blown out of their trajectory into an orbit which freezes his life support system and returns him to Earth 500 years later...to rock!

Skolnick (guitar)

Skolnick

After being cryogenically frozen in the early 80s by the CIA for reasons unknown, Skolnick awoke from his slumber looking for answers and revenge. But he got sidetracked after he bought a guitar, lit a cigar, found a bar, and started playing solos in exchange for Yugoslavian dinar.

Trey K421 (drums)

Trey K421

While taking a break from his post, Trey K421 leaned against the wrong button and was jettisoned into space. Traveling through wormhole after wormhole at unknown speed, he dematerialized and reappeared in front of a drum kit with supersonic drums skills.
